PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a molded object excellent in mechanical properties such as tensile modulus of elasticity, breaking strength or the like and suitable as an extrusion molding material for a sheet, a tape or the like or various film materials. SOLUTION: A polymer powder of an ethylene homopolymer with a weight average molecular weight (Mw) of 10,000-1,000,000 or an ethylene/3-12Cα-olefin copolymer is subjected to compression molding using a one-stage roll within a temperature range wherein the difference (ΔT=Tm-Troll) between the melting point (Tm) of the polymer powder and a roll processing temperature (Troll) is 0<ΔT≤10.
