摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a comparatively simple and small-scale body fat measuring instrument by which a body fat amount is estimated from an image by making fat distribution at the cross section of a site to be measured into the image with sufficient precision and resolution by an impendence CT method. <P>SOLUTION: The instrument is provided with: a biological impedance measuring means 2 which applies current between two electrodes selected in order among a plurality of electrodes 1 arranged on the outer periphery of the site to be measured and which measures the potential of the other electrode or a potential difference between electrodes; a conductance distribution calculation means 4 for calculating conductance distribution on the cross section of the site to be measured based on a measured value and making the calculated conductance distribution into the picture; and a display means 6 for displaying the obtained image.
