PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a releasable embolus coil capable of strongly holding a connection part even when extension stress acts on the coil and capable of expecting that a filament can be brought back and recovered out of a living body even if a wire is drawn in the living body and the coil is extended in the living body to become a state getting loose. SOLUTION: In the releasable embolus coil composed of a coil comprising a filament and a wire having a cutting-off part at its leading end, a part where the filament crosses at least at two or more places is present in the connection part of the coil and the cutting-off part.
