PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the quality of observation image uniform in individual monitors by displaying an endoscope observation image on a plurality of monitors and absorbing the variation of the quality of the observation image caused by a difference in displaying characteristics of the respective monitors. SOLUTION: A signal distribution and picture quality adjusting circuit 10 comprisesγcircuits 11A to 11D for outputs A to D, contour emphasis circuits 12A to 12D for the outputs A to D, color correction circuits 13A to 13D for the outputs A to D, memories 14A to 14D for the outputs A to D, a coefficient setting circuit 21, and a coefficient value storage means 22.
