PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely polish shoes without being restricted by the color of the shoes. SOLUTION: This apparatus is provided with a shoe placing table 4 having a fixed structure. A pair of side face brush mechanisms 12 provided with side face brushes 18 rotating around vertical shafts are provided on both sides of this shoe placing table 4. Both of the side face brush mechanisms 12 are moved reciprocatively along the shoe placing table 4 to polish the shoe. In this case, the respective side face brushes 18 are rotated in a direction reverse to a moving direction. In front of the shoe placing table 4, a polishing agent application mechanism 33 is provided to polish the shoe with polishing agent such as silicon wax. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
