PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gridiron and a cooker using the gridiron restrained from the adhesion of food or its elution component or the like even under long-term use and allowed to easily remove the adhesion in case of the occurrence of adhesion. SOLUTION: In this gridiron for grilling food, a protective layer of boron nitride having ceramic as a binder is formed on the surface of a mesh material constituting the gridiron.
