PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a golf ball in which a defect caused by residual gas is reduced. SOLUTION: A screw 11 of an injection mold machine 6 is rotated while moving backwards to the right such that a pellet 18 within a feeding part 15 is caught into a cylinder 10 while being fused. A shutter 16 is closed. The feeding part 15 is sucked by operating a vacuum pump 7 such that the neighborhood of the feeding part 15 in the cylinder 10 is sucked as well. The gas resulting from fusing of the pellet 18 is guided through the feeding part 15 and a pipe 19 to the vacuum pump 7 and exhausted outsides from the vacuum pump 7. A fused resin is stored in front of the screw 11 inside of the cylinder 10. The screw 11 is moved forwards, the fused resin is injected from a recess 9 toward a molding die 8 and a cover is molded. The gas flowing into the molding die is a little, so that the defect of the golf ball is reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
