PURPOSE: To obtain an acaricide capable of exhibiting a conventionally unavailable wide acaricidal effect against various kinds of house dust mites and further having sufficient exterminating effect with a low dose. CONSTITUTION: This acaricide contains 1,3-dichloro-5,5-dimethylhydantoin as an active component. When it is combined with at least one kind of pest controlling agent selected from a pyrethroid insecticide, an organophosphorus insecticide, a carbamate insecticide, a pest repellent, an organic microbicidal agent and an inorganic microbicidal agent as an active component, the composition has a stronger acaricidal effect. |
