PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anion generator simply used at home and discharging anions to be contained in hot air, and a sauna apparatus simple in operation and forming an existing bathroom into a sauna room. SOLUTION: Water in a water tank 25 is heated by a heater 26, scattered by a rotary plate 9b to collide with a wall surface 14, thereby generating micro- water drops containing anions to be mixed with air sucked from an air intake port 2. After that, the mixture is separated into air and micro-water drops by a water separator 12 to contain anion in the air, and jet it from an air supply opening 3. The anion generator is interlocked with a bathroom heating and drying device to form the true air sauna apparatus, and high temperature and high humidity air containing anions generated by the anion generator is discharged to the inside of the bathroom to form the bathroom into a true air sauna room.
