PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking means of a simple configuration to fix the fitting position of a cassette to a lower side of a rear end of the cassette in a large cassette type stapler. SOLUTION: A spring 14 to urge a cassette in a drawing-out direction is provided on a rear end of the cassette, and a locking projecting part 16 is provided on a lower side of a rear end of the cassette 5. A locking means 15 comprises a hook 21 which is turned upwardly by the urge of a spring 22 provided on a base 1 side facing a locking projecting part and automatically locked to the locking projecting part 16, and manually pushed down to release the locking.
