PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amorphous alloy strip for a resonator for reducing the irregularity of a magnetic characteristic generated after magnetic field heat treatment, and a manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: The amorphous alloy strip for the resonator is produced by a single roll method and has a surface roughness Ra on a cooling roll face side of 0.35μm or less. In the manufacturing method for the amorphous alloy strip for the resonator in which molten metal is poured on the cooling roll and rapidly cooled and solidified, gas primarily consisting of CO<SB>2</SB>gas or gas having a density of 0.8 kg/m<SP>3</SP>or less is supplied to a molten metal reservoir formed on the cooling roll.
