PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sand blowing apparatus of a molding machine for a mold wherein fluidity of foundry sand is effectively enhanced in a tank body and foundry sand is fully packed in a molding space. SOLUTION: A plurality of compressed-air inlets 56 for introducing compressed air into the tank body 10 are formed in a peripheral wall of the tank body 10 with intervals in a circumferential direction, which compressed air is used to blow foundry sand 40 stored in the tank body 10 through exhaust outlets 22, 22 of hopper parts 24, 24. An inner surface of a peripheral wall of at least the hoppers 24, 24 in the peripheral wall of the tank body 10 is composed of a stainless sheet 64. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
