PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a box body assembling method which enables box bodies of different types to be assembled by using a common assembling line. SOLUTION: In assembling a wall box body, a back board of the wall box body is moved to be fitted into a fitting slot by a first back board moving means 14a which is arranged in the common assembling line 11, and when both side boards, a top board, a bottom board, and the back board are temporarily assembled into the wall box body by using a first pressing means 12a for temporary assembling. Then, the temporarily assembled wall box body is rigidly assembled by using a second pressing means 12. Next, both the side boards, the bottom board, a front top sash bar, and a rear top sash bar are temporarily assembled into a floor box body by using the first pressing means 12a, and a back board with a back sash bar is fitted into the temporarily assembled floor box body by using a second back board moving means 14b, followed by rigidly assembling the floor box body by using the second pressing means 12b.
