PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a pump component made of a resin which can easily be manufactured without using a heating furnace and miniaturize a manufacturing apparatus. SOLUTION: A fiber-reinforced plastic layer 8 is formed on the surface of a solid or hollow structure 7 formed from a resin at room temperature and under the atmospheric pressure by a hand lay-up molding method or a spray-up molding method. For example, the plastic layer 8 is formed several times, the amount of a curing agent for a thermosetting resin to be added into reinforcing fibers is set to be small, a cold insulator is stuck on the side of the core structure 7, or cooling is done by air cooling, and a heating temperature during the molding of the plastic layer 8 is made lower than the deflection temperature under load of the resin of the core structure 7.
