PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing a broken waste which occurs by breaking of an oriented film to be stuck to a clip of a stretching machine in order to continuously and stably enable a biaxially oriented film to be produced in good operation property for a long period of time, and to provide its apparatus. SOLUTION: In manufacture of the simultaneous biaxially oriented film comprising a thermoplastic polymeric compound, when breaking of the film occurs in stretching, air is sprayed from upper and lower one pair of a plurality of air nozzles onto the clip for opening the held film after simultaneously biaxially orientating to remove the film broken waste stuck to the clip.
