SMC PRESS MOLDED ARTICLE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recycle an FRP ground waste material while enhancing the front appearance and hue on the surface side of an SMC press molded article to make the same usable. SOLUTION: The SMC press molded article 1 is constituted as a material containing an FRP ground waste material on the side of its back surface layer 2 and constituted as a material containing no FRP ground waste material on the side of its surface layer 3. The inorganic filler in SMC on the side of the back surface layer 2 contains 10-30 pts.wt. of the FRP ground waste material. By this constitution, the FRP ground waste material does not appear on the surface side though the FRP ground waste material is contained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
