PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliced veneer decorative sheet in which a craze (a crack), discoloring, releasing or the like of a sliced veneer hardly occur even under using conditions of moistening with water or bringing about a dew condensation and which has excellent water resistance and durability and to provide a sliced veneer material. SOLUTION: The sliced veneer decorative sheet comprises a transparent thermoplastic resin film 2 laminated on the front surface of the sliced veneer 1, and a moisture permeable waterproof sheet 3 laminated on the rear surface of the veneer 1. The film 2 may be colored in a range not disturbing see-through a properties or may be imparted with arbitrary design properties by providing a design print layer 21 of a solid print layer 22. Even when this decorative sheet is used at a site in which moistening with water or a dew condensation might occur as the sliced veneer decorative material adhered to the surface of a moisture permeable base or a thermal conductive base, a moisture is not invaded from the rear surface into the sliced veneer 1, and the moisture invaded from the end face of the veneer 1 is transmitted through the sheet 3 to be drained to the rear surface side, and hence the adverse influence of the moisture to the veneer 1 can be prevented.
