PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller skate which generates engine sounds or brake sounds. SOLUTION: This roller skate is provided with: a flywheel 8 in which a front frame having a front wheel is integrated with a rear frame 2 for sliding, and an oscillating frame 7 supported on the rear frame 2 for breadthwise oscillating is provided with a rear wheel 4, supported on the oscillating frame 7 to be driven by the rear wheel 4; two friction rings 9 provided at an interval on an outer peripheral surface of the flywheel 8; a projection 10 projected on the outer peripheral surface of the flywheel between the friction rings; a resonator provided on the rear frame 2; and a diaphragm 11 whose free end is supported on the resonator to approach the outer peripheral surface of the flywheel between the friction rings. Between the rear frame 2 and the oscillating frame 7, means 16 and 17 are provided to energize both the frames to eliminate their inclinations. In the middle of a motive force transmitting path from the rear wheel 4 to the flywheel 8, an idle gear 20 is provided to move to a position where the idle gear is engaged with a following gear by rotation of the rear wheel 4.
