PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simplified training instrument which is inexpensive, easy to carry or to store and further available for multiple purposes. SOLUTION: Two short side portions 14 and 14 of a longitudinally rectangular towel cloth 12 are respectively provided with ring-like crimping parts 16 and 16 with a sufficient strength not to be broken by a pulling operation by a user, and on the other hand, edges 18 and 18 of two long side portions of such a cloth are provided with a plurality of holes 20 at prescribed intervals. Then, the user imparts a pulling force to the cloth 12 by utilizing the two crimping parts 16 and 16 such that training is performed. On the other hand, in the state of folding the cloth 12 into two, piled portions of the edges 18, 18 of the long side portions are bound by a string inserted through the plurality of holes 20 provided there such that a bag is formed from the cloth 12.
