The stall (1) contains spaced apart partitions (17) arranged one after the other which can be moved between a resting position and a locked position. In the resting position they extend substantially in the pen length direction and combine with a stall wall (5) to form a corridor (50). In the locked position they extend at right angles to the corridor and compartments (51) are formed in between them. The pen (8) is defined by two walls, an entrance (10) and a closeable exit (12).
