RUBBER COMPOSITION FOR AIR BAG USED TO CURE TIRE

PURPOSE: A rubber composition for an air bag used to cure a tire is provided, to improve the resistance against thermal aging and the dimension stability by enhancing the rubber flowability and demolding property of rubber during process. CONSTITUTION: The rubber composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a source rubber comprising 30-50 wt% of a natural rubber and 50-70 wt% of a chlorinated butyl rubber; 50-70 parts by weight of carbon black; 1-3 parts by weight of a curing accelerator; 1.5-3 parts by weight of sulfur; 2-5 parts by weight of a fatter acid ester as a processing aid; 1-3 parts by weight of an antiaging agent; 1-5 parts by weight of a reactive resin; and 4-7 parts by weight of zinc oxide. Preferably the ratio of sulfur and the curing accelerator is 1 : 1.5-3 by weight; and the carbon black is a mixture of furnace black N330 and N660 in the ratio of 2-4 : 1 by weight.
