A flexible calibration tubing (4) or film is drawn into a flat liner tubing (6) above ground using air pressure. The liner tubing (6) is then fed into the old pipeline conduit via a manhole, and pressed against the inside wall of the pipeline by a heatable pressure medium which is circulated in a closed system. The liner tubing is held in this position until the resin in it is hardened. An Independent claim is also included for an apparatus for performing the method.
