PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for selecting an input signal of a digital TV are provided to easily select the input signal by confirming the input signals in the digital TV. CONSTITUTION: A central processing unit confirms whether a key signal is input by a user to select an input signal(S1). If the key signal is not input, the central processing unit outputs a control signal to an A/V input selecting part to select a TV signal(S2). If the key signal is input, the central processing unit confirms the existence of outer input signals(S3). If the outer input signals exist, the outer input signals are switched to the corresponding input terminals automatically or by the user(S4-S6).
