A method of supplying an induction coil consists in pulse-type connecting and disconnecting of a power supply source that provides a d.c. voltage (Uz) to the circuit which includes an operating induction coil (L1). The magnetic energy in the operating induction coil (L1), which has existed when the feeding current (I1) has flown through the operating induction coil (L1), is converted into electrostatic charge to be stored in a capacitor C when this source is disconnected from the circuit. Next, when this power supply source that provides a d.c. voltage (Uz) becomes connected, first, an increase in the current flowing through the operating induction coil (L1) is forced due to the said electric charge that has been previously stored and, only after that, at the moment the maximum value of the forced current resulting from the stored electric charge has been reached, the power supply source providing the d.c. voltage (Uz) is connected to the circuit which includes the operating induction coil (L1). A circuit for supplying an induction coil employs an operating induction coil (L1) connected across a controlled-rectifier bridge. A capacitor (C) is inserted between points (KA1) and (KA2) in the diagonal of the bridge. A diode (D1) and an on/off switch (W1) are connected in series and inserted between the controlled-rectifier bridge and the power supply source that provides a d.c. voltage (Uz). |
