PURPOSE: A tension adjusting apparatus of a brake cable for a parking brake is provided to adjust tension of the cable only by a push button and to prevent damage when an additional step is operated such as removing a console box. CONSTITUTION: A tension adjusting apparatus of a brake cable comprises a rotating push button(21) provided rotatively, a push rod(22) and a first gear(23) connected to the push button and rotated along a rotation of the push button, a second gear(24) geared to the first gear and rotated along the rotation of the first gear, a connecting device of a cable(17) connected to the second gear and a brake cable. Therein, the connecting device of the cable adjusts length of the brake cable according to the rotation of the second gear.
