PURPOSE: An apparatus for reducing errors of a direction finder is provided to determine an optimum azimuth value by using the probability distribution of a phase difference. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for reducing errors of a direction finder includes a plurality of phase channel correction unit(12A,12B), a phase center correction logic unit(13A,13B), a calculation correction unit(14A,14B), and a comparison logic portion(15). The phase channel correction unit(12A,12B) obtains phase correction functions of a receiver to reduce errors between receiving channels. The phase center correction logic unit(13A,13B) corrects input phases on the basis of the phase correction functions and outputs a phase difference. The calculation correction unit(14A,14B) outputs values of azimuth of correction tables according to the phase difference and frequencies. The comparison logic portion(15) outputs selectively the azimuth value approaching the predetermined azimuth value by selecting one of the outputs of the calculation correction unit(14A,14B).
