One counter unit is selected to act as a master control counter unit by plugging in thereto an electronic circuit module (not described) to regulate the refrigerating and defrosting systems of all the counter units. This same unit or one of the other counter units is selected, through the agency of a temperature sensor 30 (Fig. 5) in a cold airflow duct thereof, to determine the refrigeration performance of the entire display counter, whereby to maintain a constant temperature in the counter units. The temperature monitoring sensor 30 is connected by plug-in cables to the electronic control module. Another temp. sensor 28 is provided for controlling a defroster heater 29. The electronic control module also controls a fan 26 of an evaporator 27. A time switch may also be provided in the master. Anti-condensation heating (not illustrated) may also be provided. |
