PURPOSE: A box type door lock is provided to improve convenience of use by allowing the box type door lock to be maintained in a locking state when a door is in a closed state. CONSTITUTION: An inner lever(21) is connected to a retractor(32) of a box(30) by interposing an inner cover(24) therebetween. A key cylinder(12) is accommodated in outer lever. An outer cover(14) is coupled to the outer lever by interposing a bushing therebetween. The outer cover(14) is coupled to the inner cover(24) through the box(30). An angular shaft(36) is coupled to a driving shaft(13) of the outer lever through a key cylinder driving shaft and a driving cam(37). A driving device is accommodated in the box(30) in such a manner that the driving device is positioned adjacent to the retractor(32). The driving device is engaged with the angular shaft(36) and driving shafts(13,23).
