PURPOSE: A chair having a head support controlled by height is provided to conveniently support the head and to endow a sun-shield effect by optionally adjusting height of the support as required by means of hydraulic cylinder. CONSTITUTION: The chair comprises a horizontal sitting plate(1), a back of chair(2) perpendicular to the plate(1), a head supporting panel(4) extending from the back(2), a Zebra-type tool(3) between the back(2) and the supporting panel(4), a hydraulic cylinder(6) for providing power to move the head supporting panel(4) vertically, a progression shaft(7) to transfer the power of the hydraulic cylinder(6) to the panel(4), and a locker to be coupled in a locking groove formed on the shaft(7) to stop movement of the progression shaft(7).
