<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an access control system which updates stored information of an information storage card used for identification at a proper period as the face of the user changes. <P>SOLUTION: The access control system comprises a card issuing unit 2 which issues a contactless IC card 1, an identification unit 3 which identifies the user by using the stored information of the card 1 that the user bears, an access control unit 4 which controls user's access according to the identification result and the stored information of the card 1, an update decision unit 5 which decides whether information regarding the face which is stored on the card 1 of the identified user reaches an update period on the basis of the matching result in the identification, and an update processing unit 6 which at least updates the information regarding the face which is stored on the card 1 having reached the update period and information in imaging. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
