PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply forming an organic thin membrane layer on a basic plate and efficiently manufacturing an organic electric field light emitting element having excellent light emitting efficiency and durability and capable of reducing a defect of a light emitting face, to provide a transfer material used in the method, and to provide the organic electric field light emitting element such as an organic EL element manufactured by the method. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method for the organic electric field light emitting element has processes in which the transfer material is overlapped on the basic plate in such a way that an organic thin membrane layer side faces a membrane formed face of the basic plate and is heated and/or pressurized using the transfer material in which at least one layer of organic thin membrane layer is formed on a temporary support body and the temporary support body is peeled off to transfer the organic thin membrane layer on the membrane formed face of the basic plate.
