PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk device which can secure precision in positioning a board and reduce the cost. SOLUTION: The disk device includes: a pickup module for reproducing and recording data of a disk; a tray to be moved to a discharge and storage positions; the board 5 with a connector; a cable for relaying the pickup module and the board 5; and a bottom cover 4 having a pedestal 8 to fix the board 5. The pedestal 8 is formed in a trapezoidal or columnar shape by screwing up the bottom cover 4 from a lower surface, and a burring 9 is projected toward the board 5 at the center of the pedestal, and fitted to the positioning hole 11 of the board 5. The board 5 is correctly positioned in precision with a simple structure by screwing a screw 7 onto the burring 9 from the side of the board 5. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
