REINFORCED EARTH RETAINING WALL FACE STRUCTURE AND FILL REINFORCING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforced earth retaining wall face structure greatly stabilized in the strength by reducing a stress induced in a fill reinforcing material near the connection part of a wall face panel retaining the fill and a metallic fill reinforcing material supporting the wall face panel. SOLUTION: A fill 4 made of local developmental materials is elaborately charged and rolling-compacted at the backward face of a wall face panel 1 laminated in a plurality of layers. A plurality of layers of tie-bars 2 are embedded in the fill 4. The ends 2a of respective tie-bars 2 are connected to the backward face of the wall face panel 1. The connection part 3 of the wall panel 1 and the tie-bar 2 is made to have a vertically rotatable pin-joint structure at the ends 2a of the respective tie-bars 2.
