PURPOSE: A hub device with a detachable port unit is provided to flexibly cope with change of a network by detachably adding or removing port units to or from a main body, and inexpensively increase the number of supporting ports. CONSTITUTION: A hub device contains a plurality of communication lines for distributing and concentrating data from the communication lines. A plurality of port units(30,32,34,36) include port control substrates for controlling data inputted and output through a port connected to the communication lines, and the first binding elements to be bound with a main body(20). A plurality of second binding elements are detachably bound with the first binding elements of the plurality of port units.
