The process for distribution of digital documents to users via a telecommunication network includes a stage of remotely loading a selection of pages (14) into the cache memory of the user terminal. The server executes a program (10) for generating and transmitting a page which is then made available to the terminal user. The process provides distribution of digital documents to users equipped with terminals connected to a document server, via a telecommunication network. The process includes a stage of remotely loading a selection of pages (14) chosen by a user into the cache memory of the user terminal. This stage includes execution by the server of a program (10) for generating and transmitting a page. A program call command is executed in order to load another page within the selection of pages following reception of a page. An access page is then transmitted to the terminal when all the selected pages have been transmitted.
