PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately retrieve personal information in a short period of time. SOLUTION: Personal information inputted to a mobile terminal 10 is sent to a fingerprint/palmprint information management system 30 through a 1st network 21 and collated through retrieval with data in a fingerprint/palmprint numeral data file 33, a fingerprint/palmprint image data file 34, and a personal information file 35. A retrieval and collation result of the fingerprint/palmprint information management system 30 is sent to the mobile terminal 10 at the data transmission source through the 1st network 21. When a request to acquire face photographic image data is sent from the mobile terminal 10 through the 1st network 21, the fingerprint/palmprint information management system 30 sends face photographic image data from a face photograph management system 40 to the mobile terminal 10 at the request source through a 2nd network 22. Fingerprint/palmprint image data from the mobile terminal 10 and fingerprint/palmprint image data from the fingerprint/palmprint image data file 34 are sent to a retrieval result confirmation terminal 50 and a judge makes a visual collation judgment.
