PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a polyolefin fiber having excellent water- and oil-repellency. SOLUTION: The method for producing the water- and oil-repellent polyolefin fiber comprises treating a polyolefin fiber with an aqueous emulsion of a resin having 7.5-13.0 solubility parameter (SP), and further treating the treated fiber with a fluorine-based water- and oil-repellent.
