PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a method for providing a travel time which can automatically calculate and provide the travel time for satisfying the safety degree desired by a traveler and to realize a system therefor and a program. SOLUTION: A method for providing the travel time comprises the steps of specifying the path based on information of a departure, a destination and a departure time input from the user, calculating the travel time (15 min) of the path satisfying the safety degree (probability of traveling a section within the provided travel time) input from the user, and providing the travel time of the path for the user. Thus, the user does not need to estimate by himself for a necessary allowance to satisfy the desired safety, and can plan to suitably drive based on the information of this travel time.
