<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller bearing provided with a pin type retainer in which processing is easy, the number of parts is not increased and positioning of both annular side plates against the pin is easy. <P>SOLUTION: The roller bearing has the pin type retainer 2 for retaining a plurality of cylindrical hollow rollers 1 rollably clamped between an inner ring and an outer ring at a predetermined space. The pin type retainer 2 comprises first and second annular side plates 3, 4 coaxially arranged opposed to each other; and a plurality of pins 5 of which both ends are bonded to these both annular side plates 3, 4 and the hollow rollers 1 are rotatably supported onto outer peripheries of the respective pins 5. Both ends of the pin 5 are bonded to the first and second annular side plates 3, 4 by thread-engaging a parallel male screw part 6 with a screw hole 8 of the first annular side plate 3 by press-fitting the press-insertion shaft part 7 to a fitting hole 9 of the second annular side plate 4. Butting stepped parts 10, 11 provided at a base part side of the parallel male screw part 6 and the press-insertion shaft part 7 are butted to corresponding inner side surfaces of the first and second annular side plates 3, 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
