METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR INSPECTION OF SURFACE OF STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection method for the surface of a structure in which the existence of a changed state and a size of each part of the changed state are measured easily and with high accuracy by a method wherein the changed state such as a crack or the like on the surface of the structure is directly scanned (read out) so as to be input to a processing means such as a computer or the like and to provide an inspection system for the surface of the structure. SOLUTION: The inspection method and the inspection system for the surface of the structure are used by comprising a step used to hold a support member 3 so as to be adjacent to the surface of the structure 2; a step in which a readout means 4 connected to the support member 3 so as to be slidable is made adjacent to the surface of the structure 2 so as to read out a plurality of surface images of the structure 2; and a step in which a plurality of read-out images are recorded and in which a plurality of recorded images are coupled so as to measure the changed state existing on the surface of the structure 2.
