METHOD OF PREVENTING DUST DURING MAINTENANCE OF INCINERATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a better working environment by controlling floating dust as a measure to control dust during the maintenance of an incinerator. SOLUTION: During the operation of removing a clinker that clings to the furnace wall of the incinerator 2, a spray nozzle 9 is installed at the top of the inside of the incinerator 2 and water is forcibly fed from a high pressure pump 8. Water is sprayed downward from the spray nozzle 9 to create a mist. Dust arises upon removal of the clinker from the furnace wall. The dust floats up as fragments of the clinker drop. The mist covers the interior of the incinerator 2 from the top and drops while trapping the floating dust. The amount of dust floating within the incinerator 2 is reduced for a better working environment. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
