PURPOSE: A device for a background light source using a prism reflection sheet is provided to eliminate any steps for correcting the direction of light with a reflection sheet and a diffusion sheet. CONSTITUTION: A device for a background light source using a prism reflection sheet includes a light source(1), a light guide panel(2) and a prism-shaped reflection sheet(3). The light incident to the light guide panel advances from a first surface of the light guide panel and the inside of the first surface of the light guide panel. The light guide panel has a pattern alternated with smooth slant surfaces and steep slant surfaces. The light incident to the slant surfaces of the light guide panel advances toward the reflection sheet and an LCD. The slant surfaces reflect the light to be perpendicularly incident to the LCD, thereby controlling the angle of the light. |
