REVERSE MECHANISM FOR A TRAMCAR POINT

The reverse mechanism for tramcar points can be applied for changing the position of the its switch tongues and their stable fixing in their two end positions. It consists of a base (1) to which two identical vertical sides (2) are welded, in the central part of which a central axis (3) is fitted, to which a large guiding lever (5) is mounted, in the form of a scalene rectangular triangle, so that the rectangular apex of the large guiding lever (5) is mounted to axis (3). To the apex in the shorter leg of lever (5), across a two-side yoke (6) one of the sides of a small lever (7) is connected in a mobile way. By means of a small axis (8), found at the second side of level (7), to identical cylindrical springs (9) are connected to it. The third end of the small lever (7) is connected to the upper end of sides (2). At their other end springs (9) are fitted to a supporting bar (14), welded to the upper opposite part of the two sides (2). To the large guiding lever (5) a reversing level (15) is welded, in the form of a hollow parallelepiped body with elongated lower end. The third apex of the large guiding level (5) is mobile-connected between two parallel rollers (16), mounted in a reversing bar (17) the ends (18) of which are connected to the tongues of the points. Between the supporting axis (10), in its part which is outside one of the two sides (2) and axis (20), fitted opposite to the supporting one (10), and fixed to the same side (2), a hydraulic two-way actuating cylinder (21) is mounted, serving for damping the impacts during the switching of the rail points. 1 claim. 6 figures
