PURPOSE: A fluid dynamic bearing spindle motor is provided to prevent effectively the leakage of oil and improve the fluid dynamic pressure by forming the first and the second oil grooves having different gradients. CONSTITUTION: A fluid dynamic bearing spindle motor includes a fluid dynamic bearing and an oil groove. The fluid dynamic bearing is formed by making an oil gap between a rotor and a stator. The oil groove is formed on a corresponding side of the rotor or the stator for forming the oil gap. The oil groove includes the first oil groove(121) and the second oil groove(122). The first oil groove(121) has a gradient of the first angle(α) to a circumference direction. The second oil groove(122) is extended from an end portion of the first oil groove(121). The second oil groove(122) has the gradient of the second angle(β) to the circumference direction. The first angle(α) is larger than the second angle(β).
