<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production management system equipped with lot-tracing function, which generates accurate lot-tracing information, and at the same time, can easily pursue anomalies in a production process and anomalies in a product. <P>SOLUTION: The production management system with the lot-tracing function has a lot-tracing database for storing the information, which is derived by associating with a name of facility comprising a production line, a lot identification name to identify the lot processed by that facility, a number of products processed by that lot, the lot identification name received from the facility, and a time to determine the number of the products processed by the lot. The management system also has an trace information gathering means, which stores each data of the lot identification name and the number of the products processed into the lot tracing database, by receiving these data from the facility. Furthermore, the system has a lot-trace processing means that specifies, in responding to a user request, the lot identification name and the time, on the basis of the number being processed which is received from the lot-tracing database. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
