<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus equipped with an interlocking device wherein an excessive load is not applied on an interlocking switch by operating the interlocking switch by an actuator through a compression spring having a low spring constant without using a leaf spring having a high spring constant, then, whose adjustment is unnecessary and which surely operates. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is equipped with the interlocking device which operates with a prescribed operation of opening/closing an opening/ closing door. The interlocking device is provided with a 1st operating member which operates with the operation of a prescribed member, the interlocking switch for operating a prescribed circuit, a 2nd operating member for operating the interlocking switch with the shift, and the compression spring, both ends of which come into contact with the 1st operating member and the 2nd operating member, respectively, and which is pressed by the operation of the 1st operating member so as to shift the 2nd operating member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
