<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a zero-point temperature drift in a vibrator and to reduce irregularities in the zero-point temperature drift in each vibrator. <P>SOLUTION: The vibrator is provided with at least a pair of driving and vibrating reeds 2A; a detecting and vibrating reed; and a substrate used to support the reeds 2A and the detecting and vibrating reed. Each reed 2A is a bending and vibrating reed provided with a pair of mutually nearly parallel surfaces 2c, 2d and a pair of side faces 2a, 2b. A ratio (WD/TD) of a width WD to a thickness TD of each reed 2A is 1.5 to 2.4 or 0.3 to 0.8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
