<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the durability of an automatic opening/closing device for vehicles by preventing deflection of an output gear. <P>SOLUTION: An actuator unit 11 has an electric motor 20 and rotation of an armature shaft 25 of the motor 20 is transmitted to the output gear 32 via a reduction gear mechanism 21. The output gear 32 is fixed to and rotates integrally with an output shaft 30. A crank arm 18 is fixed to the output shaft 30, with the tip 18b of the crank arm 18 being connected to a connecting rod 12.
