PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a differential signal transmitting cable which can prevent skew deterioration. SOLUTION: Two insulated wires 25 formed by covering a central conductor 21 with an insulator 23 are combined in parallel and bonded by lateral winding or longitudinal welding with a metal tape 27 to provide a shield layer, an extra fine-diameter conductor 29 is wound under pressure around the outer periphery of the metal tape 27, and a pressing tape 30 is wound under pressure around the outer periphery of the metal tape to form a pair of cores 13. Four such cores 13 are provided. The 4 cores 13 are collectively arranged in parallel in such a manner that the center conductors 21 included in the respective cores 13 fall in line, and bonded by lateral winding or longitudinal welding with a metal tape 15 to provide a shield layer, and the outer periphery of the metal tape 15 is covered with a housing 17 to form the differential signal transmitting cable 11.
