<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rationalize manufacture of a handhole used for an underground wiring of a cable. <P>SOLUTION: Connecting panels 4A, 4A' (4B, 4C) for a cable protective tube are mounted on front and rear face opening parts 2, 3 of a handhole 1 body. The materials of the connecting panels 4A, 4A' (4B, 4C) are synthetic resin. Various sizes and/or shapes of sockets 43 formed in a plurality of array forms are prepared for, and the connecting panels 4A, 4A' (4B, 4C) selected from among them are mounted on body side opening parts 2, 3.
